Blue Skies Dining
Geoff Copping's fastidious standards come through in every part of the dining experience at Blue Skies. It's almost a fine restaurant but it's disguised as a casual Beach Cafe! Comfortable booths and relaxing atmosphere, on the Harbour edge. The extensive menu is available all-day, so dine when you like, after 7pm late week best to book!
The Ball and Chain Grill
Two authentic Charcoal Grills operate in Tasmania, this one, in Salamanca Place, and the other 100 miles away in Launceston, the Jailhouse Grill. Whilst the businesses are not associated commercially, a similar experience can be had at either. Top quality Tasmanian beef prepared in a consistently excellent manner. If there could only be two restaurants in Tasmania, let it be these!
Kelleys
Favourite seafood, especially the very best chowder, but only 40 or so seats, depending how many can fit on the deck - SO BOOK EARLY! First visitors to Hobart really ought to try this one because it can give you the coolest entry to Tasmanian cuisine. These guys are unique!
