Even while the docks were full of people looking at the Star Princess, Hobart is a working port so all the port activity continued. Here, an abalone "mother ship" is being unloaded. These little ships (mostly converted fishing boats) provide a warm bed and provisioning for abalone divers, who work the coastline collecting what for many is the epitome of Tasmanian Shellfish. If you are a local and you know more about this than I do, please send me some more info and I'll put it here with an acknowledgement.
